Masahiro Nukui
While studying at Doshisha University he worked in web marketing and app development, then as a freelance mobile app engineer. He founded Joyn LLC in 2021 to provide digital marketing support, launched the children's English school JoynStar in 2022 and grew it into the leading school in its area, and in 2025 started JoynTokyo, a lifestyle media platform for international residents, and JoynOne, a relocation and living support service, pursuing the vision of making Japan an even more inspiring country.

Holds a master's degree in project management from the National University of Singapore. Gained broad hands-on experience at Shopee, one of Asia's largest e-commerce marketplaces, across UI/UX design, social media marketing, business analytics and advertising operations.
Chief Editor
Editor and writer with more than ten years of experience. Started his career in legal publishing in London and moved to Tokyo in 2019. Has written and edited on cars, healthcare, video games, economics, wine, education and travel, and reviewed the first CBD beer released in Japan.
Web Developer
Studied computer science, mathematics and philosophy at the University of Toronto, then worked as a UX/UI developer at several startups. Builds and improves Joyn's websites as a web developer.
UX/UI Designer
Responsible for graphic and UI/UX design. Specialises in simple, eye-catching design made for a global audience.
Content Creator
Born and raised in Los Angeles and currently majoring in media communication and business at International Christian University. Passionate about the visual side of marketing, translating a brand's world and story into advertising creative, and involved in planning, producing and running campaigns.
Sales Director
Born and raised in London with Japanese nationality, with more than seven years of B2C and B2B sales experience. Started in London in B2C sales, sales coaching and team management, then moved to B2B sales in Japan in wholesale and consulting for the automotive export industry. Solves client problems from both Japanese and international perspectives.
Content Manager
Majored in international liberal arts at Sophia University and studied in the United States, Canada and Australia. Bilingual in English and Japanese, she specialises in content for international audiences and has produced a string of hit pieces.
Marketing Director
Broadened her international outlook by studying abroad from high school and majored in business administration at the University of New Mexico. Bilingual in English and Japanese and also speaks Korean and Spanish. Worked as a marketing research assistant on research analysis and social media, and now plans and delivers marketing strategy and content for global markets from a cross-cultural perspective.
